Sunshine #2

Eden Marie is the newest center of the universe around here, and we are still learning about her.  She is very curious (read: into everything!), she is very ticklish, she is very independent, and will already play by herself. She is so different than Marlie, but not at all in the ways I thought she would be.  She will be 8 months old on the 19th, and her most recent accomplishments are standing, and clapping.  It's so fun to watch your babies become people, especially your second one when you know how cool they become.

Meet Marlie Sue

Thought I would introduce everyone to what my world revolves around.

Marlie is my sweet, cute, sassy, pink lovin', girly girl.

She most recently moved up in the world, we went cold turkey on the paci, and graduated to a big girl bed.  It was kinda a big deal, since we have been saying we would get one for a while now.

She is a whirlwind, every minute of every day.  When I see other peoples children SIT anywhere, I think they must be sad, and then I realized that it is normal for even two year olds to sit on occasion.  But from what I hear, from my mom...everyday.....she is just like me when I was that age, so it's payback, and I kinda love how funny she is all the time!

So I've been contemplating this blog for awhile....
I didn't really know how to start.....
I love a lot of random things, so I didn't really know what I would be about....
This is what I came up with....


Sunny moments.  Thats what I live for.  Let's face it being a mom & a wife is a lot of work, and a lot of monotony, and a lot of chaos.  But through out the days, and weeks, sunny moments happen.  Babies start crawling, little girls tell you they love you,  you have a few moments to do something creative that reminds you that there is  more to you then being "mommy", your husband does something to remind you how much you really do love him.  These are the moments we are blessed with.  And that's how we have to learn to see them, as blessings.  Sometimes they get lost in the chaos, and when we lose sight of that then everything we are doing as mother can seem meaningless.  God gives us those moments, to help us remember that we are right where we are supposed to be.  So I guess as much as this blog is here to let people know what we are up too, it is also a journal of sorts.   I can go back on a cloudy day in life and look at the sunny moments we had,  and remember there are more sunny moments on the way....
